Pros

Average Pay. If you work hard, avoid the office politics, mind your own buisness and work hard you can do ok. Do your job and go home.

Cons

It's kind of like being in high school. Be careful. Very clicky. Some nepotism, gossiping, drama, backstabbing, bearing of false witnesses among some of the employees. If you rub managers the wrong way by speaking up for yourself or complain your Done. Can be retaliatory. Long tenure, highly paid employees tend to be "managed out". The company was up for sale or merger recently. Hiring Temps. High turnover in some departments.

We are very concerned about your comments and would like the opportunity to discuss them with you. Even as a former employee, your input is critical to our continued growth and success. Please reach out to our Speak Up line (it's anonymous) so we can discuss your comments in detail. To clarify a few points, DriveTime has not be involved in merger or acquisition deal (DriveTime being acquired by another company) for many years. We have made our share of acquisitions and have re-structured parts of our company, which is what you may be referring to. We are still the same family-owned organization we have been since 2002. We also hire permanent, full-time employees in the vast majority of our positions. We've never had a policy of hiring "temps" in our company - at any role. We always want to hire people who are looking for a "place to stay" and not a "temporary solution." While our company leads our industry among the lowest turnover rates, we still know we have room to improve. Again, your feedback would be insightful in helping us understand what else we can do to lower our attrition.

Pros

Break room Covered work area good lighting

Cons

Deceptive Company policy that is hard to access (Need to create a case with HR to review policies that are not easily located). Management over work with little notice for demand of Overtime. Management Typically uses google search to base their decisions instead of consulting their diagnostic team. Over demand of core job responsibilities ( Doing more than what you agreed to do upon hire). If Something was missed or not performed a certain way management will stop your production to show what you did wrong with the expectation that you will still hit production targets. Management also tends to talk down instead of a coaching approach. If you happen to go above and beyond (which is hard to do) little rewards come your way ( Things that wont come). Typical work shifts consists of maintaining a pace that is hard to achieve to always hit targets even if several roadblocks are in the way that you cant avoid. Overall working here I found it difficult to effectively communicate with management or other co-workers. * Working here I have personally experienced Sexual harassment and sexual assault, I have informed management and have heard no update on that topic other than "talked to said employee". Then Said Employee's behavior changed and found it extremely difficult to perform duties.
