For profit company - Anonymous employee Duke LifePoint Healthcare Employee Review

LifePoint Health has been a publicly traded company since I started working here. Recently it was reported that the company will be changed to private. I have worked for a non profit hospital in the past and the culture is more positive and community based. This for profit company does care for patients and the community, however they have to care for shareholders as well, which has led to a very stressful, negative environment. Hopefully the move from public to private will improve things.
