Pros

- Free coffee & drinks - Typically a fun, upbeat environment working with young people

Cons

- During my year and a half at Dutch Bros, I never once had mandatory breaks during my 5-hour shifts. If I had to go to the bathroom, they would tell you to go as fast as you could, and that was it for a break. - The managers and leaders of the company were often hypocritical and had poor management skills (many had the "do as I say, not as I do" attitude. For example, "you can't go on your phone during your shift, but I'll sit on mine and ignore customers the entire time, and that's fine for me, but not for you.") - Managers and leaders often treated you poorly - Managers and leaders would fire people at a moment's notice for small situations that could have been conversations or teachable moments; it was often simply because they decided they did not like the person; they would fire people for ANYTHING/no reason at all—this is one example of the cliquey-ness, nepotism and poor management skills - The poor leadership trickled down from the owner of the franchise
