Pros

The company has good products to be a leader in supply chain solutions. Most likely you will be surrounded by very knowledgeable people you can learn from. Everyone I interacted with was always eager to help. The CEO (Michael Farlekas) is top notch. Great company direction and he cares about people. The company took great care of employees during COVID. Also, when COVID-19 hit the company provided customized supply chain solutions to many organizations handling medical supplies/equipment for free, both in the States and abroad. And it did not make a big deal out of it. Also, when Russia invaded Ukraine, the company took a stand both with its services for Russian companies as well as announced that it will match employee donations to organizations helping Ukrainian refugees. I am very proud of being part of this organization.

Cons

Sales team sells solutions as integrated even when they are not. Which leaves it to project teams to figure out how to make them work together. Depending on the projects you work on, you can forget about work-life balance. Managers commit to unrealistic deadlines and you have to work almost around the clock to meet them. I don't mind working 12-hr days from time to time, but when you have to do it every day, week after week, plus you need to work on weekends - it becomes very frustrating and your family, if you have one, is not very happy about it. Also, some of the policies are detrimental for the company. For example, the incentive pay policy requires that you are employed by the company on the day the incentive policy is paid (which may be up to 60 days after the quarter close) and if you have already given your notice - you are not eligible. If these two clauses were removed, the company would have more time to find replacement and bring it up to speed. Otherwise, people wait till they see their bonus in their bank account and give their notice at the last possible moment. You can hardly find a replacement and bring it up to speed in two weeks - this jeopardizes the work and makes the rest of the team to work even longer hours. As a result, management becomes very unhappy about the person leaving, and even the leaving employee was in a good standing and wanted to come back after some time, someone will still have a grudge against her, even though it is not a particularly smart company policy that caused all this trouble. Similarly, with 401(k) match that is being paid on the last day of the year. This and the incentive pay policy, makes you feel like a hostage. While the company says the pay is competitive, most likely it's not across the board. If you don't want people to look elsewhere, don't wait for employees to announce they are leaving before you decide to bring their pay up to par, it's a no-win situation.

Pros

* Great teammates * Flexible working hours * "Unlimited" PTO

Cons

* The WiseTech acquisition * Random terminations * AI initiatives declared but not financially backed (at least not enough to be affective) Dear reader: please read up on WiseTech Global (and Richard White) before considering working at this place! Their history is beyond sordid and it permeates into everything they do.
