EAG Laboratories Response
2yThank you for your feedback. I like to think that most people give their best at work, however, this is not always the case.
There have been several changes recently in the lab and they have been focusing on improving communications. The company outlook has been well communicated for 2023 based on corporate objectives. Unfortunately, this has been a challenging year for many industries, and it did result in the loss of a few jobs. We do believe that working hard pays off. We encourage open communications between employees and their managers to ensure there is alignment on key priorities.
While not everyone is going to be satisfied with the amount of their merit increases, we do our best to reflect performance and market conditions. Of course, the budget isn’t unlimited, but the salary adjustments, promotions and increased evening shift differential was definitely a step in the right direction. There may be differences based on positions and responsibilities, but there is no trend in the data that shows newer employees make more than current employees. We try to adjust as best we can despite a very aggressive job market over the last 2 years.
I am not aware of anyone being bullied. We have many avenues for employees to reach out to senior leadership and Human Resources to vocalize their concerns.
With respect to bonus eligibility, the writer is misguided in terms of our priorities. We do work towards meeting client expectations by being as productive and efficient as we can while maintaining quality and safety.
