Pros
I really enjoy and value for EDSI for several reasons: organizational values, personal career growth, freedom to be creative, ample growth opportunities, fair and understanding corporate office, supportive direct managers, and an excellent team of co-workers.
Also, you are rewarded each year with a performance based raise. As long as you are true to the core values of "Show up, Smile, and Support" and you are actually performing your raise is guaranteed.
There are career opportunities in over 12 states for individuals who are looking for a company to grow with. Every week when company job opportunities are announced there are numerous openings exclusively for internal employees and this is due to the growth of the company and their reputation in the workforce development and consulting worlds.
I highly recommend EDSI for anyone looking to help people, while having your skills valued by local and corporate staff. I also recommend EDSI for recent college grads and millenials as your natural skills and abilities will be cultivated laying the foundation for a long career with the company or a better understanding of how you are as a professional.
Cons
The only con I can think of is the corporate retirement contributions which could be higher.
