Pros
Great co-workers, nice office location
Cons
Got offer at EMS but was LESS than what I asked for and stated during my interviews. Maybe I should have walked away then. Got them up to what I wanted. Then worked my butt off for a promotion and got $2,000 increase. That's not even cost of living! I've heard from others, that's all you get for a promotion. Some people I worked with had their manager get them a separate increase on top of that, but mine did not. Disgraceful... I finally found a job outside EMS and got a $12K increase off the bat. EMS does not keep up with the market on their increases and salaries. I also found out a team member hired 2 years after me was making more than I was. I know people negotiate, but seriously? I can't get more than 2K increase after all the work I did, and someone walks in off the street and gets $5K more than me?
