Pros
In every lab there are good analysts that continue to come to work everyday, meet the output numbers even thou they get nothing in return (besides a measly paycheck), and are very knowledgable in their skill. They are the people who make EMSL's money. They are what make coming to work everyday just a little easier.
Cons
I wish I would have known about this site before I accepted the job. Reading other reviews would have saved me some turmoil. First, when you are interviewed, they make it seem like this is a great company to work for with lots of career opportunities and the ability to cross-train in multiple departments. FAIL. Second, this company has a corporate HQ and a bunch of other "branch" labs. The branch labs are run by, for the lack of a better word, chumps. A lot of "managers" and "supervisors" and "technical managers" that don't know a darn thing about what they are talking about but like to pretend like they do so they take home a nice paycheck at the end of the week. And, since HQ houses a majority of the authority figures as well as the HR department, the branch managers can continue to run a lab where there is no sense of leadership, responsibility, ownership, or comradery. FAIL.
