Pros

There are no positives about my experience at EAG that are worth discussing.

Cons

This business operates more like a cult than a real software advisory. Almost immediately, I realized I had made a massive mistake by choosing to work at EAG. Even though they had boasted in the interview process about the training they offered, there was no established training path specific to my role, and the training they did offer included Scientology-based works of L. Ron Hubbard, specifically a book called The Conditions Formula. The founder and Principal Ops expect employees to subscribe to the teachings of Scientology. They even use a piece of software called Mastertech to track employee output and KPIs. According to their website, "Mastertech is the leading publisher of software based in part on the administrative works of L. Ron Hubbard". This is in addition to tracking stats on Google Sheets and Hubspot (3 locations total). I can't understand why a business the prides itself on creating efficiencies for clients operates this way. There is a reason that this company seems to hire only fresh out of college employees, specifically Colorado Christian University grads. In short, this is because they want to be able to underpay their employees. CCU is not a good school, so the owners understand that they can low-ball these candidates easier than CU or CSU grads. It is worth mentioning that there is no diversity at this company. Literally every face on the website is white. The treatment I received from the Principal Ops during my time at EAG bordered on abusive. She was not involved in my development and it quickly became clear to me that she wasn't skilled in teaching people the EAG sales process. She would get frustrated easily with me and expected me to read her mind. I learned that I was the third Sales Consultant to be hired and fired because of the Principal Op's inability to help her new hires, get them confident in the role, and ultimately scale the sales org. I also heard the founder and Principal Ops say some very troubling things. There were racial comments made by the Principal Ops. For example, she said she disliked dealing with Indian prospects and that a black prospect was a "bad diversity hire". The founder told me that they were going to "put me through hell" in order to mold me into the person they wanted me to be. Lastly, the founder said that "women are less valuable to the EAG business because they will eventually have babies and leave". I couldn't believe they would speak to someone they only knew for 3 weeks this way. I wonder how they speak to people they really know? In conclusion, there are so many things that this company needs to clean up before scaling from $5m in revenue. Racism, sexism, scientology in the workplace, and bait-and-switch hiring tactics will prevent any future growth. My advice to any new candidates would be to Google the founder with the work "scientology" added and see what you can find. You should also do this exercise with the Principal and several other consultants. It'll quickly become clear how heavily involved in Scientology the founders and many staff members are.

ERP Advisors Group Response

It is understandable this employee was upset at losing his job. But to say bigoted things about his former co-worker's religions, schools and salaries is unconscionable. If his false information about bringing Scientology into the workplace were incorrect then how would so many graduates of Colorado Christian University be willing to stay at our company? Our company is a haven for people of faith because we do not push any woke agendas. Per Colorado law, our salary ranges are posted right in every job description thus there are no "lowball" offers, there are no hidden standards about how much we pay. We have graduates from many colleges and depending on the roster at any given time, we have multiple people from CU, CSU, DU and many out of state colleges, too, in addition to CCU. CCU is 2 blocks from our office thus, their school is a great place to recruit from because they already live in our neighborhood. As a junior Sales Consultant, this individual had zero insight into who we recruit, give offers to or pass over. We had one other Sales Consultant in 2017 and never replaced them until this one in 2023. This employee was he was trained on all of our sales training, attended every sales meeting and was given one on one direction every day, yet still complains of "no training" and still made major mistakes daily, leading to his dismissal. Our company uses the Administrative Technology which was codified by the Founder of Scientology, L Ron Hubbard. However, there are no religious concepts imbued in tracking statistics, or improving statistics. There are no references to gods, deities, prayers, spirits, souls etc. in Administrative Technology. With regards to the Conditions booklet, this person actually liked the information which teaches how to improve your own statistics on a weekly basis. Mastertech is the statistics program designed to scale the graphs correctly. However we've reconsidered the perception of dismissed staff and possibly happy staff, so we've removed this training course from our lineup and therefore staff do not analyze their graphs or apply steps to improve their performance with the conditions. By publicly discussing our tools, he violated his NDA which follows him even after his employment was over. If you want to believe these untrue comments left behind by someone who was fired for incompetence, then that is your prerogative. But if you are a serious candidate and you are concerned about this bigoted review, we invite you to talk to any of our recruiters. None of them are Scientologists and they definitely would not continue working at our company if we were proselytizing them. This former employee sent threatening and harassing messages after being treated very professionally. He also claimed he would sign his name to his review during his harassing messages, but of course he didn't.

Pros

Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to work across multiple departments, support clients, learn new systems, build processes, and develop both technical and administrative skills. The company has invested in my development through training, mentorship, and opportunities to take on new responsibilities. If you’re willing to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of your work, there are opportunities to expand your skills and build your career. For someone early in their career, this can be a great place to gain experience, learn from knowledgeable colleagues, and build a strong professional foundation.

Cons

Pros

Excellent opportunities for career growth. Working with a wide variety of clients and software allows you to develop your knowledge base as well as follow an extremely well crafted methodology to ensure success from project to project.

Cons

Due to the smaller nature of the organization you may find yourself stretched at times; however, communication amongst teams is exceptional and this further emphasizes the opportunity to take on as much as you can and in doing so see real impact from the work you provide
