      Good products but chaotic leadership - Technical Product Manager EagleView Employee Review

      Pros

      New kind of products involving aerial imagery, machine learning. New technology and tools used for building products. Good learning of building products from scratch. Office ambience is great in India except the cafeteria.

      Cons

      Leadership is not having trust on its managers and developers. They interfere a lot in all discussions. VP, directors override everyone. Almost all VP, directors are from same company previously which makes it too biased. HR is helpless with people issues as they listen to India leadership and can't help people with issues. Less number of TPMs causing too much of work. Engineering interferes in product decisions and creates confusion which affects implementation of product.

      Pros

      - GREAT team and great managers. Our team leader and our business unit leader are great people. With good leadership skill. They offer helpful advice; for business communication, teamwork, and strategic thinking. I can't think of anything leaders on my team could improve. If I had a suggestion, they would listen, even if it was not possible to implement for some reason. - Great customers. GIS is a great field. It's fun to solve problems with geography. People in this field are always nice to work with, across all sectors. - Work from home. Managers trust their team. To get things done on time, act professionally and responsibly, stay in touch, and monitor project priorities and adjust as needed. They check in, and review things as needed. But no unnecessary red tape. They trust us to loop them in when appropriate.

      Cons

      - No big ones really. Pay is somewhat in range with the industry. Hopefully will see raise this year.

      Pros

      Work scheduele is very freeing, relaxed and PTO is very nice. Allowing you to take full effect of Remote Work

      Cons

      Tickets are misnumbered and the oppurtunity to climb up is quite tedius. No real salary increase.
