Pros
Salaried employees have great benefits. You work a ton during the busy season, but your given a tremendous amount of latitude for work/life balance. Management genuinely cares about staff I know a lot of people love the free food. It's not a big deal for me, but it's a big pro for some people Fair pay for the work
Cons
I think the benefits for hourly employees aren't so great. When it's the busy season, some departments are on mandatory overtime and 6 day work weeks. You get a big paycheck during these times, which is the balance, but I know it's hard on some people. There were some issues with management a year or so ago, but the company has done a lot of work to move people out of roles where they were not good fits. Because of the pending acquisition, we've been challenged in adding head count, so we're all doing a lot more with less. That's not unusual in companies though.
