Pros
- GREAT team and great managers. Our team leader and our business unit leader are great people. With good leadership skill. They offer helpful advice; for business communication, teamwork, and strategic thinking.
I can't think of anything leaders on my team could improve. If I had a suggestion, they would listen, even if it was not possible to implement for some reason.
- Great customers. GIS is a great field. It's fun to solve problems with geography. People in this field are always nice to work with, across all sectors.
- Work from home. Managers trust their team. To get things done on time, act professionally and responsibly, stay in touch, and monitor project priorities and adjust as needed. They check in, and review things as needed. But no unnecessary red tape. They trust us to loop them in when appropriate.
Cons
- No big ones really. Pay is somewhat in range with the industry. Hopefully will see raise this year.
