Pros

- DM was really sweet and laidback - Employee discount - Flexible schedule - Easy to move up in the company

Cons

- Pay was low - Overall company had some strict rules for a retail store - Corporation that tries to market as a small "hippie" business while not truly embodying the qualities

Pros

Friendly coworkers Casual dress code More flexibility than many traditional corporate environments

Cons

- The owner and senior leadership have limited retail experience, and there is very little strategic direction from top management. Many leadership positions are filled by family members or close friends of the owner. - The corporate office operates with a very lean staff, with little indication that additional hiring is planned. - Compensation is below market for most positions, particularly store-level roles. Advancement opportunities are limited, and employees are often expected to take on responsibilities well beyond their job descriptions. - Teams are held to unrealistic expectations despite extremely limited resources. -The company is highly disorganized, communication is poor, and managers receive no formal leadership training. -The company advertises a hybrid schedule, but it currently requires four days in the office with only one work from home day. Employees hired under a more flexible policy have gradually seen those benefits reduced. At the same time, there are very few employee perks or initiatives that make being in the office worthwhile, contributing to a culture where employees don't feel valued.
