Pros

Definitely a great way to build teaching experience in NYC.

Cons

Increasingly more and more unorganized. The leadership of the program is not only wildly inconsistent but inadequate. You are left alone with very little support. They are quick to reprimand you.

Pros

PTO policy is flexible for staff not in schools.

Cons

Unsafe learning environments that the org spends overtime to cover up. High turnover. A lot of the data they report about test scores does not tell the full story. A lot of favoritism. Senior leaders treat everyone like they are disposable if you do not serve their narratives. No positive culture. Staff are very unhappy. Principals are unqualified.
