Pros

Most of the employees truly do care about the patients and their treatment. They want to make an impact and work long and hard hours to ensure that the standard of care is superb.

Cons

ERC is where good employees come to die and become the epitome of apathetic. The company is run by a core group of people who are truly dedicated to the company. They know of all the issues and continue to look the other way in order to protect management. It is like a revolving door. Many good people come in and leave. Most last between 90 days and a year. Many employees are over worked, under paid and stressed out. It is a literal mad house and there is no true accountability. If you speak up and say there needs to be change you become a target. You instantly get left out of the loop. You get cut from emails, people avoid you, remove you from meetings, and quit speaking with you. Things will happen behind your back and people will begin to do things they are not authorized to do. They are afraid to check the Dallas leadership team and let them run wild. The HR team in Denver isn't much better and do the same thing, even to each other. It is a literal dog eat dog world. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Their reputation continues to swirl down the drain while they stand their smiling acting like the world is all sunshine and daisies. Lies, deception and people refusing to do what is right. Avoid it at all costs!

Pros

ERC Pathlight has a meaningful mission, and many employees genuinely care about the work being done for patients and families. I appreciated the opportunity to contribute to healthcare marketing initiatives and gained valuable experience during my time there. I also worked with several talented and dedicated colleagues.

Cons

My primary reason for leaving ERC Pathlight was leadership and team culture. The biggest challenge was not the work itself, but the management environment. I experienced a leadership style that felt toxic, overly critical, inconsistent, and lacking in support. Communication often felt more focused on pointing out mistakes than providing coaching, clarity, or opportunities for improvement. Favoritism was also a rampant issue within the company. Employees were frequently expected to navigate unclear processes and shifting priorities with limited guidance. Asking questions or requesting clarification could feel discouraged rather than supported, which made it difficult to feel psychologically safe. Concerns about leadership behavior did not feel like they were addressed in a meaningful way. Growth opportunities were also a concern. During the interview process, I was given the impression that there would be opportunities for development, but after joining the organization I was told there were limited growth opportunities within my role. **Advice to Future Employees:** Ask detailed questions about your specific manager, team culture, growth opportunities, how feedback is handled, and how processes are documented and shared before accepting a role. The mission is meaningful, but your day-to-day experience will depend heavily on your leadership team and management style.
