Pros

There is a great work/life balance at this company. They also pride themselves on being ethical and have a large ethics and compliance department.

Cons

There is an US vs. Them mentality when it comes to senior leadership and everyone below. While they are staying in 5 star resorts and flying first class or via private jet, you will be told that there is not enough money to attend training or for remote employees to have a central meeting once a year.

Pros

Q & CI are supported overall from the top. Quality Management Systems and procedures are embedded in the company culture...across all of Eaton. No matter what site or city you go to, it is overall the same QMS. Roles and processes are standardized, people know where to find their standard work and understand the processes...although not always followed. Overall support of iERGs is good. A lot of people stay for their entire career, so longevity can be a pro, but a con as well. Company recognition is good overall.

Cons

Low pay. Good ol' boy network for promotions. Slow to promote. Calibration process for annual performance ratings is a bit questionable at times. Company culture drastically changed over the years as LDPs (Leadership Development Participants...a rotational program) started being promoted too quickly without the maturity, wisdom and experience needed for the roles. Lack of diversity at local sites, although corporate level roles were very diverse.
