Pros
* lots to learn and do - there are always new and exciting projects to work on * surrounded by smart people - whether you are talking with the folks at ETC, ESS, or Sling you are always around by truly smart people * decent benefits - not the best, but not the worst - for the average healthy person the benefits are just fine plus the company gives free money towards HSA. Solid financial perks - 401k matching, profit sharing, employee stock purchase, etc
Cons
* leadership is a bit out of touch - the work environment has changed over the years and employees work harder because of it - executive management needs to update their perspective on culture to help keep the good employees * there are no incentives for top performers to continue to be top performers * job responsibilities are flexible and little recognition (increases) are given to those taking on new work * lack of good management training - most things don't happen because managers don't think they can or don't know how to get them done. A good training program for managers will help them to be better decision makers and can help to develop and reward top talent more.
