Pros
I am a person that depends on reviews for everything. Therefore, it is vital that I write a review to help other job seekers. Pros: *Being able to be a listening ear for the youth. *Flexible schedule *Some of the circuits within Project Bridge have great managers and really care about their team, the youth and are involved in the daily functions.
Cons
Transition Support Specialist=Taxi. If you have a degree or almost finished with your degree DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS JOB!! Cons: *You're in charge of making the transportation schedule each week but no one will follow it. They will call you the day before and make changes, add people or simply tell you the youth changed their mind about coming. This usually happens when they put a youth on the schedule before they speak with them. *There are two Transition Support Specialists but only one will drive, while the other sit at the office "Doing paperwork" which usually means nothing except when an audit is approaching. *The pay * They are more concerned about the paperwork and numbers than the actual youth. They give up on the youth and marked them in the system as "unable to locate" so that it does not affect their numbers. Also, please be aware that working in Circuit 10 (Lakeland) office is a joke. If you enjoy being able to do what you want to do (coming to work at anytime, leaving work early, and etc.) you will probably like it. The kids are not involved at all, management does not take his job serious and hardly shows up to work.
