Pros
My experience working at Eckerd was heartwarming and rewarding in the work that was being done for the community. The quality support and framework for success is provided from corporate and regional management. Room for advancement provided.
Cons
Too many changes in corporate over the last year made feeling like Eckerd was an unstable place to work. Too many shifts in focus, lots of job cuts and unreliable outsourcing. Inconsistancies and lack of communication made employees feel like a ship in a storm with no captain. Some corporate level upper management forget the humanitarian side to work and could reallly benefit from ethic sensitivity training. Not enough diversity in senior level management hires or board members and definitely not enough women.
