Pros

Nice people, improving tech stack, decent pay, more realistic calculation of bonuses vs last year

Cons

While "sinking ship" might be too strong, the company's growth has definitely slowed and morale is terrible. After six months of concerted efforts to improve "employee engagement", that score has actually fallen as measured by the HR survey. The worst score for the past few years revolves around senior management. No one really believes they have a plan. They seem to just bumble along relying on luck rather than strategy. Meanwhile they cut our bonuses in half and give themselves raises. The disconnect between rank and file employees and senior management is profound. No one above Director level seems to understand how bad it is. The company is hiring, but I don't know many people who would recommend coming here. I'm actively looking for a new role myself, so how could I ask a friend to come over?

Pros

- Great team from department head down - Collaboration is encouraged - Self-starter culture with good room for side projects - "See something, say something" approach allows questioning methodology without a feeling of personal attacks or "dumb questions" and enables team members to support each other in a safe environment - Work from home

Cons

- Executive leadership does not know what they want - Consistent turnover in C-Suite leads to departments acting like small internal companies rather than part of a larger system - Limited permission access for team members means that any absence or time-off can lead to a backlog of deployments
