descent work life balance because I press the issue. Otherwise, HR is not very willing to discuss unless there are a litany of management sign off.

Cons

You can not trust one word that comes out of any of managements mouths. They're all too busy positioning with senior management and brown nosing. I'm not going to go into all the gory details but I would encourage you to keep looking for a better job. With all the wasted energy here with all the back stabbing and back biting, you will be better served elsewhere.

Worked with some really great people, who unfortunately have the same outlook. This caused a lot of negative (and hilarious) "water cooler" talk.

Cons

EdgeWave has been, and most likely always will be the laughing stock of the cybersecurity industry. Email solution is OK, but still gets beaten out in deals by competitors that actually take part in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Web security solution is 20 years behind. You're better off having nothing in place. It can't even stop a 5th grader from going to a porn site. The Huawaii firewall... well, it's a Chinese firewall. This is the United States, and China is one of our biggest adversaries when it comes to cyber warfare. When you are trying to sell a Chinese firewall to a company in the US, how do you think that deal is going to play out? Oh yeah, and I think they fired the only person that knows how to install them.
