Pros

Was paid a salary during training (a joke) and studying for the Series 7, 66, and insurance exam. Free trip to Arizona to attend training classes or as I like to fondly refer to as a week of endless role playing with other poor shmucks involving various sales scenerios. If you like a cult like atmosphere and like being indoctrinated (the koolaid is served on a regular basis) you will truly find a home. Also, if you like to attend alot of indoctrination er training courses in the desert this is right up your alley.

Cons

One word. Doorknocking. For two years you are expected to go doorknocking like an Avon lady in the hopes that some old lady hands over her money to a complete stranger standing on her doorstep. They tell you that you are starting YOUR business and then do nothing but tell you how to run your supposed business.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
