Pros
- International environment - worldwide company with 60 years of history - no. 1 in artificial heart valves therapy, very well recognized by the healthcare professionals - a great development program for employees (Cornell University, development courses...) - great employees benefits - definitely above the average for Czech Rep. - takes care of the well-being of their employees (free fruits, gym + organized training of yoga and pilates in the house, massages...) - unlimited career opportunities - possibilities of moving between different jobs inside the company - a young international collective of people (at least 30% foreigners) - well situated in the city center of Prague - never heard about a company, where so many people work for more than 10, 20 or even 30 years - heard from my colleagues across Europe, that Edwards was always their dream destination
Cons
- I heard about some managers which could care more about their headcounts, but don't know anyone of them personally, cannot judge - parking for some of the people - limited space in the garage, but still possible to reserve your place in advance - when working with the US teams - working extra hours, because of the time difference - hard to change your employer for another company, because you know it is worse to be working elsewhere :)
