Pros

Edwards makes amazing life-saving devices. Culture is very dynamic. Company hosts interesting all-employee events, including Patient Day, where employees get to meet the patients whose lives have been saved with Edwards devices! Salaries are competitive.

Cons

Not much focus on work-life balance. Employees are expected to devote themselves to the company (including frequent late workdays and weekends for some business units) at the expense of family and personal well-being. In some business units, staff are afraid to take vacation because of the the workload. The culture can be difficult to understand, very political in some business units. You either fit in with the high stakes culture or you don't.
