Pros

I am a former employee and I can honestly say that I learned the most and grew the most during my time at Egnyte. This is a start up! Its nimble. Its fast moving. You need to keep up. You can do what it takes to make a difference. The flat hierarchy implies that you can work closely with and challenge even senior management, and they listen to you. The sales team is growing and there are lots of opportunities to shine. If I had not left to do my own startup, I would still be working at Egnyte. You hear about the space being crowded, but Egnyte is a leader in this space. They have raised a lot less money than their competitors and I think this is a David that will take down Goliath.

Cons

Egnyte needs to hire more millennials to showcase its truly unique culture. Do more cross departmental events, even if its informal. Needs to grow its international presence and brand.

Pros

Great benefits and great people to work with. The product itself is a great and superior product.

Cons

No training. No pipeline. No real support for SMB. You are basically a glorified SDR. Any real leads come from events or if you have good install base accounts. Hardly any good inbounds come and and if you do get a good and decent size inbound, they take it away from you to give to a mid-market rep. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. If you don't mind constantly grinding, go for it. Otherwise, I would recommend looking else where.
