      Pros

      I have been in Egnyte for 3+ years as senior engineer. It was a bit challenging coming from big company to adapt to the start-up culture. But Egnyte has a great work culture that allows a good work life balance. I have flexibility to WFH when I need it the most. Plus, Egnyte has an open door culture, leaders have great vision and execution plan, opportunities are plenty to avail. I am fortunate to be part of a wonderful group of great technical minds who know what they are building and know how to make Egnyte a fun place to work.

      Cons

      Don’t have lucrative perks that most of the bigger Bay Area start ups have. For example: 401K matching, and health/life insurance could be better.

      Pros

      Great benefits and great people to work with. The product itself is a great and superior product.

      Cons

      No training. No pipeline. No real support for SMB. You are basically a glorified SDR. Any real leads come from events or if you have good install base accounts. Hardly any good inbounds come and and if you do get a good and decent size inbound, they take it away from you to give to a mid-market rep. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. If you don't mind constantly grinding, go for it. Otherwise, I would recommend looking else where.
