Pros

Used to be a great culture. Great relationship with direct team.

Cons

EisnerAmper was bought out by a private equity firm in 2021. After, the entire culture changed. Two C-Suite members left without much fanfare within a year and a half. Top management priority went to "combinations" AKA M&A of smaller firms to increase revenues without properly onboarding them into the "family". Staff stretched super thin across the board.

Pros

I had the opportunity to meet the wonderful team at EisnerAmper, The South Florida audit department is filled with amazing people who truly want to help each other, and it was special to be able to work with everyone. Additionally throughout my internship I was able to learn about the Audit process from planning to execution, and how to utilize the various software's available for auditing in EA. I was able to familiarize myself with important financial documents such as bank statements, AR schedules, WIP Schedules, Depreciation Schedules, AP Schedules, and much more.

Cons

The internship began in the summer, which can be a slower time for the company which meant less work to delegate to interns. Some days I found myself with little to no work, even though I reached out to multiple members in the audit department. Additionally, June-July is a slow time in the office, so there were days where the other intern and I were the only individuals in the office
