Cross - training should be standard within departments so that one person is not the only knowledgeable individual for assigned role.

Pros
Compensation and benefits are better than most. The employees and coworkers are genuine and amazing.
Cons
Extremely demanding and stressful work environment. Management doesn't appreciate employee input or value and is very disconnected from the people struggling. Changes are constant. Once you get used to a new process, it is changed again. Layoffs are frequent and indiscriminate to excellent and dedicated employees.
