Toxic environment with poor training and micromanagement - Attendant & Coordinator Elara Caring Employee Review

Pros

I really do not have any good I can say about this company. Especially in the department and location that I was in.

Cons

Micromanagement, not sufficient training, no work from home options. The entire company needs to be cut down and restarted. There is absolutely no structure. Every location is doing things differently. There should be one structure for the entire company to follow. I was doing three jobs for one person and only an accumulation of 30 minutes training. My boss said my work was trash (yeah very professional) right. The list goes on.

Pros

Field staff is good, especially the home health aides. Most of the nurses as well. Medical Directors are thorough.

Cons

Local management is poor. Bad communication, short staffed, take patients that live alone in bad situations with no plan for future care. Disasters waiting to happen. Employee well being is poor. No recognition for things you right or patient/ satisfaction. Nurses don’t get adequate time with patients. I
