Pros

Make your own schedule and not have to work inside a facility.

Cons

Being told to be more productive or you will be sent to other branches to “Help out” with no regard to distance. Gas reimbursement was cut to .35 cents instead of the variable rate GLC used. Insurance is terribly expensive. It’s Stressful ordering patients supplies only to have them micro-managed and denied. Patients wait too long on wound care supplies and it’s frustrating for them.

Pros

No recognition for things you right or patient/ satisfaction. Nurses don’t get adequate time with patients. I
