Pros

*Location *Free beer *Casual attire *Some very smart and energetic colleagues *Some brilliant people within the Anthem Enterprise organization where you learn a lot from

Cons

*VERY high employee turnover in the studio - The shortest term was 1 day. Everyone I started with left under year. Another 3 directors left under a year. All due to poor leadership and knowing there is NO innovation going on. *No innovative projects. Just a lot of tweaks to the extremely poorly rated and used Anthem app like a button to track claims - which no user has ever asked for *Buying an existing 3rd party software to personalize videos and calling this innovation "smart videos". This is like buying an iPad and handing it to employees and telling them that you just did something innovative *Leader of innovation group disliked by peers and others *Enterprise see very little value to no value in the group *Team constantly fighting and no team work going on *Having to work on really bad ideas because the innovation lead came up with it or at least claims to have come up with the idea *Low employee morale within studio *Poor culture within the studio *Poor survey results When I spoke to HR about the situation they said they were not surprised given the leaders poor track record and reason for people leaving. Yet NOTHING is done!

Pros

I’ve enjoyed the work itself and have had the opportunity to build strong experience over the years. The company provides good employee self-service tools and resources, and being part of a large organization offers exposure to complex projects and different teams.

Cons

Growth opportunities can be limited depending on the organization within and management structure. There is room for improvement in operational processes, which can create inefficiencies and increase workloads. At times, organizational challenges feel larger than individual teams can address, making it difficult to see lasting improvements. Recognition for employee contributions can also feel inconsistent, with significant efforts not always being acknowledged.
