Pros
I started with Anthem in 2017 and have been in two different departments and have had a good experience with both. My managers have been friendly and flexible when I needed help. Hours are good (standard 8-5 or 9-6 depending on departments). Benefits are mediocre.
Cons
The only issue I have had thus far is transparency (or lack there of) when a department has issues don’t try to hide it because it only frustrates the employees more, especially when it’s a call center environment during open enrollment. Keep us in the loop, if underwriting messed up the small group benefits then let us know directly so the we know what to expect on the phones.
