Pros

Friendly Recruiter Quick Interview Process

Cons

I embarked on a journey with Elevance Health, seeking the role of Customer Care Representative II, only to find myself ensnared in a web of inefficiency and disregard for a candidate's time and circumstances. My initial encounter with Elevance Health seemed promising. After applying on 08/03/23, I was swiftly ushered into the interview process, commencing on 08/08/23. The initial stages appeared seamless, and on 08/09/23, I received a congratulatory text from the recruiter, 'Christine,' indicating my successful acceptance for the position. Regrettably, a silent phone led me to miss a crucial call, but I promptly explained the situation, only to be assured that it was a non-issue and that I would be contacted the following day. To my dismay, the promised call never arrived, and I found myself waiting anxiously from 6 am to 5 pm on 08/10/23, vigilantly checking my phone every few minutes. Frustration mounted as Elevance Health failed to fulfill their commitment. Only on 08/15/23 did 'Christine' respond, citing a lack of approval from leadership as the reason for the delay. With patience wearing thin, I endured further delays until an email on 08/18/23 from 'Christine' delivered the disheartening news that "Elevance Health was overhauling their offer process, awaiting interminable leadership approvals". A reasonable explanation, I thought, and pledged my patience. However, as the weeks dragged on, my patience waned. On 08/30/23, I sought an update, receiving a noncommittal response from 'Christine': "We hope to have a decision to share with you soon." The culmination of this ordeal occurred on 08/31/23 when 'Noll,' the Talent Acquisition Consultant, informed me that the position I had diligently awaited was no longer to be filled. Elevance Health's conduct throughout this saga reeks of unprofessionalism and an utter disregard for candidates' time and understanding of their personal circumstances. While I may ultimately have avoided the clutches of an evidently incompetent company, it is with immense frustration that I recount the nearly month-long charade that Elevance Health subjected me to. They led me down a path of false hope, causing me to operate under the assumption of employment, only to conjure excuses that disrupted my job search and left me aghast at their sheer ineptitude. In conclusion, Elevance Health's abysmal handling of this recruitment process reflects poorly on their organizational competence and respect for prospective employees. This ordeal has been nothing short of an exasperating waste of my time and a stark reminder that, at times, it is the candidates who endure the true cost of such ineptitude.

Pros

Good Benefits and insurance Groceries benefit School reimbursement Gym benefits Hospital indemnity Insurance Remote work convenience

Cons

Pay rate never really goes up. Prefer to promote inexperience outsiders than from within. Low pay At the whim of Manager Favoritism Political Pretentious Metrics based of friendship with Management Hard to move up of you don’t suck up to a Manager or be political or be part of their click and group. QIP is also at the whim of the manager. Faulty metrics where you are blamed for FCR failures even when you fixed the issue on your first call and but because the member called in multiple times to other associates who didn’t help. Or do their job, they blame you for first call resolution when you never talked to the member till you resolved it. This is really messed up and it affects your QIP.
