Pros

Great group of mechanics who try and do the best they can. Elliott is a great place for a young mechanic to learn before finding greener pastures. If you want overtime you can get get (see the cons).

Cons

Leadership has lost its way. Does not care about its employees. Too much overtime. While more money is always good, too much OT can burn you out. A senior management person told a mechanic once that since he had no family he had no reason to not work every weekend and was expected to do so. Poor work-life balance. Poor employee engagement. Pay and benefits.

Pros

Industry and customers are the only good things about this hellhole.

Cons

Leadership has been there for years and doesn’t know what they’re doing. Terrrible communication. Very cliquey. Wouldnt recommend to anyone. Stay away. Lots of turn over. Paint department is the worst.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience didn’t reflect the culture and values we strive to uphold. We take concerns about communication and team dynamics seriously and are continuously working to improve transparency and collaboration across all departments. As you experienced in your time here, we have implemented several new communication initiatives, such as our quarterly All Hands meetings to share company results and news with all employees. Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen a significant decrease in turnover, which we believe reflects our efforts to build a more supportive and engaging workplace. Regarding the Paint Department, we’re proud to share that it’s growing, thanks to business expansion, we’ve recently welcomed six new team members to the team. We’re excited about the momentum and the positive impact this growth is having on our operations. Many of our leaders have been with the organization for over a decade, and their longevity is a testament to their ability to grow and evolve within the company. We value their experience and the mentorship they provide to newer team members. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure every employee feels included, heard, and empowered. Thank you again, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
