Pros

Very flexible management team. During peak in the Fall and Spring, team leads ensure representatives are providing the best caller experience by reviewing past calls. My experience as a whole at Ellucian was a fairly positive experience. Position allows for upward growth in tech support.

Cons

Sometimes during even normal operating hours, some team leads would not review call feedbacks until several weeks after the call. This may result in habits that could be avoided if teamleads could address these issues more quickly. During training sessions for new clients, the presentations would often be very quick and not verbose enough to allow for questions.

Pros

There are plenty of employees who pour their hearts into this mission.

Cons

There’s an acute difference between being an incompatible coworker and a crappy person. Ellucian is led by some people (no names) who need to learn how to be a freaking human. The manipulation, deceit, rage, selfishness, and lack of self awareness were traits exhibited by these folks regularly, if not daily. It’s not hard to choose respect over ego. You can have conviction and not ruin peoples’ weeks at the same time. The sky isn’t falling.
