Pros

Large company that can provide a lot of ancillary benefits; things like mental health sessions, travel assistance, paid volunteer time, etc. Nice company to get your start as a software engineer. They are actively trying to modernize, and become more like the big 5 (FAANG).

Cons

The company is so large that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. which leads to much inefficiency and cross motivations. Lots of bureaucracy above you. Also because of the way the conversion to FAANG tech stacks and methodologies has gone, some engineers feel like cogs in the machine rather than trusted professionals.

Pros

-Great company -Team has talented, experienced account managers and product experts who know the territory well

Cons

West team management is heavy on micromanagement and sets unrealistic territory targets without rep input — high turnover, and long tenure in company seems to shield this manager from accountability and growth
