Pros

The people are fantastic and always happy to help in fixing any problem. A lot of technologies are used that can expand your abilities; some that i have worked with in a relatively small team including: AWS (extensively), Kubernetes, Terraform, Bash, Python, Elasticsearch, Jenkins, Puppet, Linux/Centos. Different teams use different things - some use Kubernetes extensively (but my experience is only slight), others use Azure. AWS and terraform are my big two but Elsevier have and Enterprise account with Udemy so you can study any course you like for free which i think is fantastic. Also internal higher is preferred over external so career progression either vertically or in to a different position is quite straight forward.

Cons

Sometimes (and i mean very occasionally) it can get a bit repetitive. One these days i find its good to do some training so that it feels like a day of learning

Pros

-Great company -Team has talented, experienced account managers and product experts who know the territory well

Cons

West team management is heavy on micromanagement and sets unrealistic territory targets without rep input — high turnover, and long tenure in company seems to shield this manager from accountability and growth
