Pros

Pros are the benefit package--very comprehensive. I enjoy that new employees begin with 23 PTO days (vacation/sick/personal) each year (prorated). Colleagues tend to be friendly depending on the work area. Those who bring their "B" game to work can easily succeed.

Cons

Leadership lacks in terms of long-term planning and communicating effectively. This results in duplicating work often and quickly changing priorities, which is quite frustrating. In this environment, leadership will often throw employees under the bus when goals are not met or items were overlooked. Depending on department, personal and professional growth is limited. Because of this, there is a large amount of turnover. I believe that many of the newer employees are quite competent, yet, because most are new problems can arise. Of the crowd that has worked here for 5+ years, most seem stuck in their ways or lazy (because they can get away with it). Though there are a handful of older employees that seek to further their work, the attitude of long-term employees and the lack of training and integration for new employees does not allow for growth.
