Pros
High salaries - everyone is paid much more than what is reflective of their contribution and authority. There is title inflation, so, for example, a director will get a good director-level salary, yet have responsibilities that elsewhere would be considered that of a manager or a supervisor. Benefits are typical.
Cons
Most employees do not have much work to do and few care about their individual work result or about the company. There is neither an appreciation of quality nor a culture that encourages employees to step-up to make improvements. No one you meet is impressive, because anyone skillful leaves. HR is no better, so there's little hope to get new talent or to have support making improvements. Regarding work/life balance, there's plenty of time for your life, but no satisfaction from the work.
