Pros

Benefits like: Unlimited PTO, sick leave, remote work, company-supplied laptop

Cons

Since our company was acquired by Emerald, I have seen my workload and responsibilities increase yet my compensation and title stay the same for two years. We have no had company-wide formal employee reviews since 2021. Below industry-standard employee compensation that does not include cost of living increases or standard review compensation increases. The compensation package shared with us at the time of acquisition promised a compensation increase each year + bonuses, but no reviews have occurred and bonuses are performance-based on the entire company's revenue goals, not per employee. Leadership is secretive and selective, firing and hiring at will with little to no communication with their teams, leading to a feeling of no job security or longevity. We were lied to consistently all year from leadership about when compensation reviews were happening. As a company that touts "employee first" policy, I see little respect for our team and no path for growth for my role here.

We're grateful for your feedback. Our compensation and benefits' package has undergone an extensive review resulting in a fair and balanced approach to pay as well as recognition. Our CEO, Hervé Sedky, and his leadership team have given Emerald a renewed focus and are driving the business forward with clarity and vision.

Pros

-Depending on what team you're on, you get a lot of autonomy. (on the flip side, see con- if you're on the wrong team) -Good benefits -Fun events & Travel opportunities

Cons

-People getting laid off left and right all time. One minute you have a team mate and the next they are just gone. -Management is top heavy and operates like a fraternity -If you're on the wrong team every move is watched -Your job is NEVER safe -Imagine with the acquisition that was just announced by Apollo that the reason for layoffs was to become lean before transition. I would hedge bets that this will also continue to be a numbers game and positions are going to be uncertain -Sales plans are always ambiguous and there were even times where the plan wasn't out until several months into the year. Expected to sell over and above but didn't always have a sales plan to follow. It was always changing.
