Pros

No Positives to share about this company. There used to be some things everyone liked about this company, but those days are behind us now.

Cons

This company is being managed by the HR department. They are forever getting complaints about small minor things and they choose to launch secret investigations. When they talk to people during their investigations the employees are all intimidated to keep this a secret. This company is being run from the top down approach. This company has more Vice Presidents than it does managers. This company is used as an executive training ground for Emerson. This philosophy has allowed many different executive trainees to mismanage the company to the point where all manufacturing is in the process being moved to Mexico and Romania.

Pros

Great immediate supervisor and their boss. Made top-down communications tolerable. Great co-workers and great collaboration that lifted the entire team.

Cons

(1) RIF based on tenure, not performance. HR is too powerful a department, and everyone fears it. (2) Tenure made you lazy, killed creativity, initiative, and promoted a "yes" culture. (3) During COVID layoffs, CEO pay went from $3.7 million to $15.x million, while employees endured 25% furloughs for 3 months, and management 10% reduction in pay for 6 months - explain how that is reasonable. (4) CEO declared DEI as the way forward for career mobility, and a lot of young, promising talent walked out the door, including DEI-qualified minorities. (5) I was one of those minorities.
