Pros

Large organization with a good name. Good benefits package with good medical and fantastic leave benefits. The people are generally nice. I'm fortunate enough to have a great boss!

Cons

Very Silo'd. If you want to move up, then you are expected to be connected all the time. Emails will come in 24/7. Pay is static and on the lower end for nearly all job classes. The tagline is "We're all in this together", yet you will feel like you are in it alone. People management is numbers management. Emory will never give you want you put into this place. Not because they can't or won't, but putting their people fist is just not in the organizational DNA. Any attempt always feels unnatural, forced and it never lasts.

Pros

Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Leadership needs significant improvement. Promotions often appear to be based more on personal relationships than on experience, qualifications, or selecting the best candidate for the position. Leadership also fails to adequately address bullying and toxic workplace behavior, allowing it to continue unchecked. As a result, many locations feel disorganized and chaotic due to inconsistent leadership, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
