Great benefits, exposed to a variety of diagnosis, research and some great physicians/surgeons
Cons
Not a supportive environment for nurses. My experience was that you were there to further the research for the physicians primarily, the hospital's reputation and the patient's in third. I didn't see any efforts to improve the nurse's work environment, promote a sense of community among the nurses, or ownership or dedication among the nurses to their units, field or the hospital itself.
