Pros

-Nice doctors -Fancy name on your resume -You often work independently (also con due to no supervision)

Cons

-They don't promote from within, instead they hire people with pretty resumes but have no clue what they are doing. You often have to resolve issues on your own because you know more than your manager about the way things work -they don't pay very well -They stretch everyone too thin, including the managers -HR has a lot of power but they have no clue how the practice actually runs. Their guidelines may have worked in the past, but there have been many changes to the healthcare systems in the last couple of years. They really need to reanalyze their staffing criteria -there is often one secretary to clinics with many doctors. This leads to slow admin response time and ultimately bad patient care -they don't pay as well as nearby hospitals - they take time from your hard earned PTO for holidays. Yes, national holidays!

Pros

Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Leadership needs significant improvement. Promotions often appear to be based more on personal relationships than on experience, qualifications, or selecting the best candidate for the position. Leadership also fails to adequately address bullying and toxic workplace behavior, allowing it to continue unchecked. As a result, many locations feel disorganized and chaotic due to inconsistent leadership, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
