Pros

Empire provides a positive work environment, cares about its employees, and the company looks to the future in the marke place. As the difficult economy begins to recover the company is providing some of the benefits it had reduced a few years ago.

Cons

Larger employers have challenges in providing communication to the employees. It is good to see the efforts being done to offset this challenge.

Cons

Empire is a male-dominated company that tends to give special treatment and additional perks to men of equal position, such as company vehicles and advancement opportunities. There are double standards in conduct. There are cases of favoritism - the saying, " it's not what you know but who you know, " definitely applies here.
