Pros
The best reasons to work at Great West are the benefits. Generous time off and when it's not the "busy season" you can take vacations. Also, Great West is always offering training classes on anything from Excel to professional licenses and the company also gives a decent tuition reimbusement for business classes (5k a yr).
Cons
Great West's philosophy is to promote employees who have worked at Great West the longest, not who can do the best job. If you are a hard worker you will be rewarded by doing other employees work load which will burn you out. Great West doesn't seem to get rid of "dead weight" so the lazy employees never have to change. Also, Great West's idea of a raise is 2-4%, hardly worth it.
