      The pay is somewhat higher than other places

      Cons

      I would steer clear from this location. The market for inpatient rehabilitation is changing. Leadership has changed multiple times, physicians let go, multiple big furloughs happening, They are bringing sicker patients into rehab to increase census leading to acute care transfers. Leadership is more concerned with filling a bed, than what is actually best for the patient. This is not a team environment, departments do not work together. There are multiple staff leaving from every department. Maybe try another location.

      Very positive rehab team with great leadership support!

      Cons

      Like any job in healthcare right now it’s a demanding job but the culture at encompass really does make a difference.

      Pros

      Great team to work, people are always willing to help each other. The clinicians genuinely care about their patients and it shows every day. You feel like you’re making a difference in patients’ lives. Good teamwork between departments. Leadership listens to feedback and wants the hospital to keep improving. Positive work environment with coworkers who care about doing a good job.

      Cons

      Healthcare is busy, so some days can be stressful. Things can change quickly, so you have to be flexible. Communication between departments can always improve. Like most hospitals, staffing can be tight at times.
