      Pros

      Will gain a lot of patient contact experience for students looking to go to medical, nursing, or PA school.

      Cons

      I don't know if every location is like this, but we are almost ALWAYS understaffed. It puts so much work on the rehab nursing techs, and it doesn't seem like anyone is doing anything to resolve the issue.

      Fair wages & positive rapport with therapy team

      Cons

      Poor leadership/administrative management team Mixed messaging on expectations/standards Questionable execution of ethical practices High case loads and no plan of support for staff Unreasonably high expectations/weight of metrics placed on Case Mgt team and treatment team staff rather than focus of best practice outcome for patients (bc admin does not want SNF rate to increase or NRC score to drop) Admin create culture that fostered several constructive discharges of staff members No work/life balance
