Pros

If you didn't need 40 hours or you were able to switch shifts all the time, this was a great job, and for several years it was run by staff that cared and felt it was a part of something.

Cons

No job security, when the going got rough, without telling staff, they annexed to the hospital and one by one over a month would call diff people in and lay them off, not telling staff what was happening, so people could not decide what to do, no severance package or anything. All in for themselves

Pros

Great team to work, people are always willing to help each other. The clinicians genuinely care about their patients and it shows every day. You feel like you’re making a difference in patients’ lives. Good teamwork between departments. Leadership listens to feedback and wants the hospital to keep improving. Positive work environment with coworkers who care about doing a good job.

Cons

Healthcare is busy, so some days can be stressful. Things can change quickly, so you have to be flexible. Communication between departments can always improve. Like most hospitals, staffing can be tight at times.
