Pros

Good medical, vision and dental insurance.

Cons

Lack of trust and poor management. Terrible communication among departments. When something goes wrong, management starts pointing fingers as opposed to finding a proactive solution. If the employee expresses disappointment or a concern that doesn’t agree with management, you’ll be in the “naughty “ list and everyone will know. The “open door policy” is a joke. If you decide to go and verbalize your discontent, you will be screwed. The hospital’s CEO is just another businessman who cares more about the numbers than the employees. He is not genuine and transparent. All nice and all in front of the employees but behind doors with senior management, he demonstrates his true colors: a spreadsheet administrator with a business mentality and money hungry.

Pros

Great team to work, people are always willing to help each other. The clinicians genuinely care about their patients and it shows every day. You feel like you’re making a difference in patients’ lives. Good teamwork between departments. Leadership listens to feedback and wants the hospital to keep improving. Positive work environment with coworkers who care about doing a good job.

Cons

Healthcare is busy, so some days can be stressful. Things can change quickly, so you have to be flexible. Communication between departments can always improve. Like most hospitals, staffing can be tight at times.
